Lincoln General Begins New Initiative: Lincoln Cares

Lincoln General Insurance Company completed its annual United Way campaign this October with outstanding company-wide results for its Lincoln Cares initiative.

Lincoln General donated over $85,000 to United Way, seeing a 20 percent increase in giving employees compared to last year. Total employee contributions also rose, up 23 percent from last year.

Along with taking donations, Lincoln General performed several “Days of Caring” where employees volunteered in their local communities. The Elk Grove Village, IL office also held a food drive and the Phoenix, AZ office organized a bake sale to provide canned and baked goods to their respective surrounding communities.

Barbara Lukawski, Vice President of Human Resources said, “This is an awesome response, especially during this challenging economy. Whether or not employees were able to give financially, each and every employee has shown that Lincoln Cares.”
