Lincoln General Insurance Company (LGIC) focuses on doing business with quality agents that are looking to provide a stable Surety source for middle market contractors. LGIC is a standard market for Surety credit within our underwriting limits of $7,500,000 single, $15,000,000 aggregate. We consider contractors, General or Sub, who have been in business for 3 years or more. These contractors have shown the ability to provide quality financial statements, continued profitability and solid management as well as maintaining the continuity of the company. Our agents will have the Surety knowledge to present contractors that fit their agency plan and the goals of LGIC.

Our Team

The Surety underwriting team is located in Tampa, Florida. Our team of underwriters has a wealth of knowledge, with combined experience of 156 years writing contract and commercial in all areas of the United States. They come from a diverse background in the surety industry ranging from the reinsurance market place to former surety agents. All of our underwriters have proven their expertise with contract surety and their ability of evaluating risk in our ever changing construction environment. They offer stable and consistent underwriting practices regardless of the opportunity presented.
